TMI Tuesday: The Amateur Detective

The Amateur Detective

TMI_detective

1) Did you ever find someone else’s stash of sex toys, lubes, etc.?

I was one of those nosy, pain-in-the-ass teenagers and went through my parents stuff. Once upon a time... I came across my parents play drawer. Let's just say that it changed my perception of them to a degree.

2) Did you ever search someone else’s computer to determine their porn habits? Were you ever the object of such a search?

I have had several friends that would look for the strangest or kinkiest porn we could find and shared it with one another, but I have never purposely searched someone else's computer for their porn habits. I have looked to see some of the porn vids my husband occasionally watches but I don't do it in a nosy way. Is there any way to make that sound believable? I look out of curiosity to see his preferences for future surprise porn purchases. And that is the honest to heavens truth! (Now I sound worse for being so protective...)

3) Did you ever investigate to see if two people were getting it on?

When I was younger I would check on my friends if there was noise, but mostly I stayed away.

4) Did you ever look for naughty pictures on someone else’s phone?

Yes. I have ex's that cheated on me and others that have had photos of their ex's still on their phones. I don't just pick up someone else's phone and start going through their personal stuff.

5) Were you ever involved with an investigation (formal or informal) into whether someone was cheating on his/her lover?

I don't believe so. I have given friends a heads-up if I saw something out of the ordinary with their significant other, but I have never gone out of my way to investigate a situation.

Bonus: Do you have a secret online identity so that you can find a secret lover?

No. I write under a pen-name but I am in a monogamous relationship and not interested in finding a lover.

LSG Touch: Mia Egg & Lucy Necklace

PACKAGING:

These beautiful natural stone products both arrived to me in matching embroidered bags, encased together in a sheer bag. Attached was a lovely card with the LSG Touch logo and contact information. Also included in my box was a pamphlet on how to use and care for these products.

MATERIAL/TEXTURE:

Mia is an egg-shaped kegel tool made of south china jade. In this instance the term south china jade refers to the mineral Nephrite, which is a non-porous, extremely durable, but easily scratched natural stone. The pure, natural stones are created free of any chemical or synthetic substances, so these are natural as natural gets! Mia is strung with an extremely strong, braided string and glass beads. The string on each Mia is tested with a 7 pound pull before being approved for use. Mia is completely smooth with no noticeable drag, smell, or taste.

Lucy is an open ended necklace with round, thai turquoise pendants on either end. She is strung with the same strong, braided string as Mia, with glass bead accents. The pendants are very smooth to the touch.

 SIZE:

My Mia measures 2 1/4 inches long, with a diameter of 1 1/4" at the thickest and about 1/2" at the smallest part of the taper. The string is 5 inches long and there are 32 beads strung along the length.

Lucy is a full 42 1/2 inches from end to end. The stone pendants both have diameters of 1 1/2", and the string between them is 39 1/2" with alternating bead sizes and colors . This is plenty of room to wrap it as a choker or find some other interesting way to wear Lucy.

 FUNCTION:

Mia is a natural stone kegel tool. A kegel is the practise of contracting and relaxing the muscles of the pelvic floor. These are the same muscles used to stop and start the flow of urine. Kegeling can be used to reduce urinary incontinence and to increase the length and intensity of orgasms.

Lucy is designed as a breast stimulator. The pendants hang in a way to stimulate blood flow in the breast tissue. The pendants can also be used as a part of foreplay, or as a tool while performing your monthly breast exam.

 PERFORMANCE:

I have been using Mia for a little over a month and have already noticed a difference in the strength of my kegels. I cannot honestly say that I have noticed any difference in the intensity of my orgasms, but that will be different for everyone. Mia is super easy to pop in and she can be worn anywhere while doing anything. My favorite time to use Mia is when I am going about my house chores. The string makes it very easy to remove and a quick wash under the faucet and she is ready for the next time.

Lucy is not only a beautiful piece of jewelry, but it is also functional. I have used this necklace during my monthly breast exam, as a statement accessory, and also as a general massage tool. A little bit of massage oil and these pendants slip and slide across the skin with no problem. While wearing Lucy as jewelry, the pendants gently rub across the nipple and breast in a subtly erotic way that kept my mind ever-so-slightly in the gutter all day. It was a fun little secret I kept all to myself.

CLEANING:

DO NOT BOIL THESE PRODUCTS. Mia and Lucy can both be cleaned using a mild antibacterial soap and warm water and sanitized by wiping it down with alcohol. Boiling the natural stone can irreparably damage these products.

 LUBE:

I would suggest only using water based lubes when needed. Too much lubrication on Mia will cause her to be incredibly difficult to keep in place. I personally have not tested any type of lubricants on these products because I do not plan to use them. I have used massage oil on my Lucy and have noticed no problems, but I cannot guarantee the same results for anyone else. These are natural materials and it would be wise to research any interactions before using a new product on them.

POSITIVES:

Mia is an excellent tool for kegel exercise, and Lucy has multiple potential uses. These are completely natural products with no chemical or thermal alteration, and no synthetic polish of any kind. These products are as close to nature as you can get. Each product also comes with a matching embroidered storage bag.

NEGATIVES:

The jade that Mia is made of is easily scratched, although difficult to break. This can be solved by storing it in the included storage bag when not in use.

 STORAGE:

LSG Touch includes a beautiful, matching embroidered bag with each of the products sent out. They are closed by a simple drawstring, and they stay securely closed. This makes both Lucy and Mia very travle friendly. They can be carted along in your purse, left out on your nightstand, or tossed in your luggage without worrying about them being damaged in any way.

PERSONAL COMMENTS:

I have been doing kegels since puberty, but they became very important to me after I gave birth. During labor I experienced a uterine prolapse. Basically, my uterus exited my body with the afterbirth, and had to be repositioned inside of my body. This is a potentially life-threatening birth complication. I have had no issues since childbirth, and I attribute that, in part, to my continuing to perform kegel exercises  Using a tool, such as Mia, really helps me to focus on that part of my workout, and also provides a bit of a weight system for me to train my muscles. I would highly suggest a product such as the Mia to anyone, but especially those that may have some form of urinary incontinence.

SHOP INFO:

LSG Touch is run by the wonderful Lisa Shelly Gabriel. She sells natural products designed to increase your sexual satisfaction, and infuses each of her creations with good, positive energy. TMI Tuesday: College Stereotypes

College Stereotypes

sexy_university
1) Have you ever been sexiled? (To be sexiled is to be denied the use of your room, usually dorm room, because someone is having sex there.)
I don't believe my roommate ever kept me out of the room, but I know I did it to her on more than one occasion. I also had sex while she was sleeping in the room once. I was a little wild in college ;)
2) Were you ever hit on (propositioned) by a someone in your circle of friends who knew you were in a relationship with someone else?
Yes, I have. It was a mutual friend of an ex.
3) Did you ever date someone for sex only, i.e. in hopes of a 1-night stand?
I wouldn't consider it "dating" but I have had more than one friend-with-benefits relationships. We were exclusively sleeping with one another but not in a relationship. If one or the other found someone else they were interested in, the relationship went back to just a friendship. I am still really good friends with one of them, as well as his wife. And, yes, she is aware of what our situation was and is ok with it.
4) Were you ever involved in a regrettable sexual incident where alcohol or drugs were involved?
Yes.
5) Did you ever see a porn movie in an actual movie theater? Did you ever see porn on home movie (8mm) before the age of videotape?
No. I think that this was before my time... or at least before my porn exploration time. I do remember "borrowing" a few titles from my dad's VHS collection when I was in my early teens.
6) Did you ever discuss the prowess of a sex partner with a friend? Did the friend also have a history with the same person?
Yes, I have. I have a select few girlfriends that I talk about anything and everything, and this includes guys. At the moment I cannot think of any guy that I have "shared" with a friend.
Bonus: Many heterosexuals ‘experiment’ in college by having their first same-sex encounter. If you are heterosexual did you have your first same-sex sexual experience in college? Did you like it? What did you do? Are you hetero-flexible or did you become bisexual?
Note: Bonus question provided by Hedone.
I would identify myself as heterosexual, if I had to categorize myself at all.I have experimented a lot with the same sex, my first time being in high school. I enjoy a woman's body, I think we are wonderful to look at naked, but I have never really felt the desire to share my life, intimately, with a woman. I just prefer a man.

TMI Tuesday: Sex, Sex, and More Sex

Sex
 sex and more sex

sex graphic
1. Have you ever considered yourself completely sexually satisfied?
(Thank you Sex in Words for this question)
Oh, good question. I would have to say that the only time I have been completely sexually satisfied was when hubby and I were in the first months of our relationship and couldn't keep our hands off each other. We had sex at least twice a day and we were constantly touching each other in some form or another.
2. What was the last sexy photo you took?
The last sexy photo I took was for hubby and it was about 2 months ago. I've been talking about taking more, I just haven't gotten around to doing it, yet.
3. When was the last sexy photo you took AND sexted? What was it of and to whom was it sent?
The last time I sexted was several months ago. It was a photo of my naughty bits and I sent it to my hubby. He is the only person that gets sexy photos of me.
4. How is your sex-life?
a. Like a wet blanket
b. Like a warm cozy comforter
c. Like an electric blanket getting you all heated up
d. None of the above, I sleep without covers
At the moment I would have to choose B. We have been trying some new things and pushing some boundaries to heat things up some.
5. What’s your idea of good foreplay?
Foreplay is a HUGE part of our playtime. There is always a lot of touching, hot kisses, and often winds up with someone getting oral. We enjoy teasing one another so much that the foreplay often lasts longer than the sex!
BonusCan you have a great, long-lasting sex life with the same partner? How?
I believe that you can have a great sex life with one partner. I think the key is to keep things fresh and always communicate. Communication is key to any aspect of a relationship, so why should it be different for sex? Keep an open mind and don't be afraid to try something new. But most importantly, have sex! The more sex you have, the more sex you want.

We-Vibe: Salsa

PACKAGING:

The We-Vibe Salsa arrived to me in a white, trapezoidal box with a photo of the salsa on the front. Opening the box there is a plastic form that the Salsa itself is nestled into, along with the docking portion of the recharging system. There is a small user manual sitting on top of a smaller box. Inside the smaller box is the charging cord and a white satin storage bag big enough for the Salsa and its charging system. While the box does not scream "sex toy," the photo on the front and the words "personal massager" in 6 different languages remove all discretion.

MATERIAL/TEXTURE:

The Salsa is made of non-porous, phthalate-free ABS plastic. It is hard and smooth, with absolutely no texture at all. The only part of this toy that is not plastic is the button, and that feels an awful lot like silicone to me.

 SIZE:

The Salsa is a small, lipstick-sized bullet vibrator. It measures in at just 3 1/2" long and 5/8" in diameter, making it ideal for any kind of outing. You could easily slip this little baby into your purse or pocket for fun on the go. Just be careful not to lose this beauty!

 FUNCTION:

The We-Vibe Salsa is a bullet-style vibrator designed for clitoral stimulation. This is not a product for internal stimulation, of any kind, and will almost guarantee you an embarrassing trip to the ER if you try to use it anally. We-Vibe also equipped the Salsa with a rechargeable motor and 8 different settings, ranging from 3000 rpms to 4800 rpms. The best part; the Salsa is 100% waterproof. Turn it on and drop it in a bucket, I did. It was a lot of fun, and the Salsa was completely undamaged.

 PERFORMANCE:

We-Vibe packed such a powerful motor into such a little package that I wonder if they employ some kind of wizard to create these masturbatory masterpieces. There is so much power packed into this bullet that I was able to hold the Salsa in my hand and use my finger as the stimulator. The variety of intensity and patterns of the functions still allows me to build-up to an orgasm, then sends me hurtling over the edge of pleasure, giving insane clitoral orgasms.

The Salsa is small enough to be used during intercourse. I like to use mine when we are doggystyle because I can easily reach back and stimulate his testicles or my clit. I have yet to be disappointed by this amazing vibrator.

CLEANING:

The best way to keep the Salsa clean and happy is soap and water or commercial toy cleaner. Alcohol or a 10% bleach solution can be used to sanitize. Because the Salsa is waterproof, it is super easy to clean. There is no worrying about it getting lost at the bottom of your sink as you wash up.

 LUBE:

Plastic is safe for any type of lubricant, be it oil, water, or silicone-based. It is a non-porous material so a dab of lubricant is, likely, all you will need. The control button on the end of the Salsa feels as though it may be made of silicone. Keep that in mind if using silicone-based lubricants, as it could degrade the material.

 POSITIVES:

Strong, intense vibrations come from this small little bullet. The Salsa is completely waterproof, body-safe, and sanitizable. The rechargeable motor eliminates the need to purchase multiple batteries.

NEGATIVES:

The intense vibrations of the Salsa may be too intense for some. Also, We-Vibe has discontinued the Salsa. They do have the Tango, who I hear is identical to the Salsa, except for the tip. Salsa has a pointed tip, while Tango has a lipstick-shaped tip.

 STORAGE:

The Salsa comes with its own storage pouch straight from the manufacturer. It is big enough to hold the charging system, as well as the vibrator itself. The pouch is made of a white satiny material that is quite beautiful.

SSA Glass: Deep Water G

PACKAGING:

The Deep Water G arrived at my door, wrapped in bubble wrap and tucked into a red velvet pouch. I was pleasantly surprised that the storage pouch was included, since I prefer to store most of my toys in individual pouches.  I was also happy to see that steps were taken to ensure that this product made it to me intact and undamaged. The pouch, itself, is not padded. It works just fine for at-home storage, but I would suggest something with a little more protection, when traveling with the Deep Water G.

MATERIAL/TEXTURE:

SSA Glass produces high quality borosilicate glass sex toys. These glass toys are not only fun to play with; they are truly beautiful works of erotic art. Borosilicate glass is the type of glass used in Pyrex brand bakeware due to its ability to withstand more extreme temperatures. This glass is tempered, so if it were to break, there would not be tiny shards of glass shattered across the room, but rather big, chunky pieces that are much easier to clean up. Glass is a hypoallergenic, non-porous material that has no smell or taste.

SIZE:

The Deep Water G is a slightly curved, cobalt blue, textured dildo. The two ends have different sized bulbs and there is a nice line of nubs along the shaft. The glass itself has a smooth surface with no real drag. The curve on this dildo is just on the one side, and isn’t very pronounced. The Deep Water G measures 7 ¾” in total length, and with two ends, it is fully insertable. The first end I measured has two glass ball like shapes on the end; these measure 1 ¼” in diameter at the widest parts. The shaft of this dildo has a diameter of 1” with a total of 7 nubs that add an additional ¼” in diameter, and are about 1/2” round. The other end of this dildo is the G-spot side and it is a bit bigger than the other end at 1 ½” in diameter. The Deep Water G is a bit on the heavy side, at approximately 11 ounces.

USE:

The Deep Water G was designed by SSA Glass to be a dual-ended penetrative toy capable of G-spot stimulation. This is a toy that is perfect for temperature play, solo stimulation, and partner play, however it is not recommended for anal use.

PERFORMANCE:

While the Deep Water G may not be immediately recognizable as a G-spot toy, it does its duty well. With two ends of differing texture, this dildo is a great option for both glass beginners and the more advanced players, alike. This is a toy that is long enough for comfortable solo masturbation, but be aware of wrist fatigue during longer sessions, due to the weight of this toy. A small dab of lube onto this smooth glass toy will have it sliding into you with ease. Personally, I like to have my husband use this dildo on me while he uses his mouth. The only issue we have come across is in the thrusting power. Because this is a hard material, vigorous thrusting could result in internal bruising. It is wise to keep this in mind if you enjoy a lot of hard, fast thrusting when using dildos. All in all, the Deep Water G performed brilliantly.

CARE & MAINTENANCE:

Borosilicate glass is compatible with any type of lubricant you wish to use. General washing should be done with an anti-bacterial soap and warm water or a universal toy cleaner; however, the Deep Water G can be sterilized in the dishwasher, by wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution, or by boiling it for 3 minutes.

POSITIVES:

This is a body-safe, sterilizable material that is extremely low maintenance. I love the textures on the Deep Water G, and the fact that it is dual ended for more varied use.

NEGATIVES:

There are none!

PERSONAL COMMENTS:

It’s no secret that I am a glass lover, and the Deep Water G did not disappoint me in the least. Not only is it an absolutely gorgeous piece of art, but it is functional, too! The slight curve on the one side is beneficial when hunting for my g-spot, and the hardness of the glass guarantees plenty of pressure, if needed.

Extase: Zenith

PACKAGING:

The Extase Zenith came in a wonderfully sturdy cardboard box. The front of the box features a photo of the vibrator with the Extase logo across the top and the words “Zenith” and “sensual vibrator” across the bottom. Opening the box, I am greeted by my faithful Zenith nestled into thick foam cut to the shape of the vibe. Beneath this foam tray lies a user manual, battery instructions, a mini pamphlet on the company, and a velvety storage pouch with the Extase logo.

MATERIAL/TEXTURE:

The Zenith has a long neck with an egg shaped bullet on the end for more precise G-spot stimulation. It is made of smooth, velvety, phthalate-free ABS plastic. Plastic is a hard material with no give, so this vibrator can stand being used to apply a little more pressure, when needed. I have detected no smell and no taste in this material. The Zenith is controlled by one button that functions as an on/off switch, and to cycle through the various functions. This vibe is marketed as being splash-proof and does have a nice rubber O-ring in the battery compartment to protect against moisture build-up.

Extase includes a nice storage bag with the Zenith. I have no idea what it is made of (and could find it nowhere) but the outside is a lovely, dark grey, suede-like material with an inner layer of a workout type material in a dark purple color. It is closed by a simple drawstring and small metal bead.

SIZE:

The Zenith is a total of 9 inches long. The shaft measures 6 1/2" long and is triangular  rather than round, and each side is 1" wide. The egg shaped G-spot stimulator on the end is 2 1/2" long and has a diameter of 1 1/2" at the widest part. This is not a toy to use for a full feeling, but rather to deliver more accurate vibrations to the G-spot.

FUNCTION:

The Extase Zenith is designed to stimulate the G-spot. The shape is perfect for reaching around the pubic bone for that sweet bundle of nerves, and the vibrations just bump it all up a notch or three. The Zenith can be used to also stimulate the nipples or clitoris for a little foreplay action. This is not a toy intended for anal use, although it can be used for prostate stimulation, if great care is taken.

PERFORMANCE:

I bought two of these vibrators during the facebook friends’ sale, one for me and one as a gift. As soon as the box arrived, I tore into it to see my new toy. After I thoroughly inspected, and then washed, my new Zenith, I grabbed 2 AAs and headed to my room. Because this is a G-spot toy I grabbed my Liberator throe and got comfortable. The Zenith has 7 different vibration settings as follows: 1. Light steady, 2. Medium steady, 3. High steady, 4. Medium pulse, high pulse, medium pulse, high pulse, 5. Medium pulse, medium pulse, high pulse, 6. Medium steady, high pulse, medium steady, and 7. Starts off light and steady and slowly works up to the high intensity, then starts over again. I call the 7th vibration pattern the “motorcycle” because it begins off feeling exactly like my husband’s bike.

I began to warm up with the low, steady vibrations. It didn't take long before I wanted more and experimented with them all. As my arousal grew, I selected the high intensity vibrations and put some pressure on my G-spot. Then I exploded. I was able to have multiple squirting orgasms with this vibrator, something that does not happen to me often. I am a huge fan of this vibrator and would recommend it to anyone looking for some great G-spot stimulation.

CARE & MAINTENANCE:

The Zenith is made entirely of phthalate-free ABS plastic and is safe for use with both silicone and water based lubricants. Anti-bacterial soap and water or a universal toy cleaner are the suggested ways to clean this vibrator. Extase recommends storing the Zenith separately from your other toys, keeping it out of direct sunlight, and never submerging the Zenith.

POSITIVES:

The Zenith has lower frequency, rumbly vibes which I find more satisfying that the higher frequency buzzy type vibration. I found this to be a quieter vibrator and have had no issues using it while my roommates were home. The size and shape are ideal for my body and G-spot location, though this may not be the case for everyone.

NEGATIVES:

The Zenith has proven to be a bit of a battery hog. I really like to use the vibe for longer solo sessions, so a rechargeable option would have been fantastic. This does not affect the performance of the toy in any way, I just find it a bit tedious and expensive to keep the batteries fresh.

STORAGE:

Extase includes a wonderful double layered drawstring pouch to store your Zenith. The box, with its foam cutout, is also a great way to store your vibrator. I personally have mine stored in the box and use the pouch for one of my glass toys.

PERSONAL COMMENTS:

I am so glad I bought this on a whim and would gladly purchase it again, should the motor ever die. I have used this vibrator over and over and never been disappointed. I would highly recommend this design to anyone looking for a great G-spot vibrator. The only real issue I have with this vibe is the battery usage. I find I can only use the Zenith 2-3 times before the batteries lose power and I wish it was rechargeable. Beyond that, I have no complaints.

BON BDSM: Dog Tail Butt Plug

MATERIAL/TEXTURE:

The BON BDSM Dog Tail Butt Plug is made of 100% premium, body-safe silicone, even the tail! The surface of the plug is completely smooth with no visible seams and the tail is solid silicone with a curled shape and the tail is textured so feel as similar to fur as silicone can feel. The base has a nub on each side of it for additional stimulation.

SIZE:

The Dog Tail Butt Plug is a medium sized, bulbous shaped plug measuring 13 1/4" from tip to tail. There is very little taper on this plug, starting at just 1/2" diameter at the tip and widening to 1 1/2" diameter in less than 2". The anal rim resting area has a 1" diameter. The total insertable length of the plug is 3", with about 1 1/4" of anal rim area and base, making the total length of the plug portion 4 1/4". The base itself has a curve and is approximately 3 1/2" long by 1" wide. The tail alone is 9" long and is curled.

FUNCTION:

The Dog Tail is, obviously, an anal plug. Anal plugs are designed to go into the anus and remain there for however long the wearer wishes. A plug can be used to prepare, or warm up, the anal cavity for a larger object or anal sex. This particular plug is connected to an adorable little curled dog tail that is also constructed of silicone. The Dog Tail Butt Plug , and is perfect for those who may be interested in some sort of pet play, dom/slave relationships, and even those who just want something different for their anal toy collection.

PERFORMANCE:

Let me begin by saying that this was the very first anal plug I have ever owned. When I opened the box I was surprised, and terrified. Although I was sent the smallest plug that BON BDSM produces, it is not a plug for first timers. I purchased an anal training kit (review found here) to prepare myself for wearing this plug. In all honesty, it took me nearly a month to be able to insert this plug fully and be comfortable, now I just love this thing.

Not only is this a well shaped, comfortable plug to wear (once you get used to the size), the tail that is attached creates a whole separate sensation to your anal play experience. Because the tail itself is created from silicone, it has enough weight to put gentle pressure on the walls of your anal cavity. The tail is a curled shape as if it is wagging, and can be curled up or down, depending on your preference or to communicate mood to your partner.  Gently tugging on the tail also stimulates the anus and is very pleasurable. The coolest feature of this plug has to be the fact that it wags when you wiggle. It was a lot of fun to put it in and wag it in front of my husbands face, while I was bent over in front of him.

CLEANING:

This anal plug can be cleaned using soap and water or a universal toy cleaner. If you wish to sterilize your toy  you can throw it in the dishwasher, boil it, or wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution. These toys are safe to share between partners, provided that they are fully sanitized between users. If you plan on using the same plug, on multiple partners, during the same play session, I would suggest using a condom or three around this plug and simply pulling them off between partners.

LUBE:

This anal plug is made entirely of silicone, therefore only water based lubes are recommended. I will add that my plug has been in contact with silicone lube during play and was washed thoroughly, and I have not had a problem, yet. I would suggest that you stick with a water based lubricant whenever you are playing with silicone products.

POSITIVES:

The Dog Tail Anal Plug was very comfortable to wear. I had no tugging or pinching or jabbing or any other unpleasant sensation while wearing this plug. The tail end creates a subtle ,weighted pressure against the thin wall between the anal and vaginal cavities, resulting in intense pleasure. The silicone is easy to clean and sterilizable.

NEGATIVES:

The only real complaint I have about these plugs is that I wish they were offered in a slightly smaller size. It is not a toy for an anal beginner, although it may be easily achieved for some. I am very pleased with this plug, now that I am able to use it.

STORAGE:

Because this is a silicone product, it is recommended that it be stored with some type of barrier against any other toys you may have to prevent and kind of degradation. I have a small, cloth pouch that I use to store my plug. Silicone can also collect lint. This particular product does not seem to be particularly lint magnet-y, however it is wise to keep that in mind when deciding on a storage option.

SHOP INFO:

BON BDSM is a shop I found on Etsy while looking for some new and interesting designs. Located in Bangkok, Thailand, BON BDSM produces bondage themed items for intimate play. Available in the shop are colorful, padded leather wrist and ankle restraints, anal plugs, impact toys, and a few styles of leather masks.  All items are made to order and shipped promptly. Dear Diary: Squirting/Female Ejaculations

Dear Diary,

I have a confession to make... I am a squirter. Capable of female ejaculation. And I love it. I wish everyone could experience this powerful rush of sensations for themselves.

The very first time I squirted was a complete accident. I was so incredibly embarrassed and honestly thought I had urinated all over my partner and our bed. He had been fingering me, rather enthusiastically, using a "come hither" motion, with his fingertips rubbing against the front of my vaginal walls. He would bring me to the brink of orgasm then slow his movements until I was begging him for more. I was in a sitting position with my weight on my hands and feet. I distinctly remember the feeling of build-up and pressure from within, and I warned him that I thought I was going to pee. Instead of stopping, like I expected, he renewed his efforts and abandoned any semblance of gentleness. I came so hard while liquid gushed all down my legs, dripped off of his hand, and soaked into our bed. My face immediately got red and I ran to gather up some towels to soak up the mess. Just a few weeks later we were going our separate ways (for reasons unrelated to this incident).

It wasn't until a few years later that I discovered what I had really done and really began to explore the world of squirting. I began by watching a lot of porn featuring squirters. It was just so incredibly hot to see these women in the throes of passion and pleasure as they came all over themselves, their partners, and often, the camera. I researched the phenomena behind female ejaculation and began educating myself. Female ejaculation, or squirting, happens when the g-spot is stimulated to the point of orgasm. The g-spot is the spongy group of cells located behind the pubic bone and before the cervix, about 3 inches or so into the vaginal canal, toward the front of the pelvis. If you are using your fingers, this little area of skin is a bit rougher than the rest of your vaginal cavity. Every woman's anatomy is uniquely theirs, therefore your g-spot may be located a bit closer or further away from the vaginal opening. Don't be afraid or ashamed to go exploring and find out exactly where your g-spot is located. As the blood rushes into the g-spot and it becomes engorged, you may feel pressure build up that feels very similar to a full bladder. Do not worry, this is normal and you will not urinate. Remember to relax, let the feelings and sensations rush over you. Tensing up from fear of urinating can prevent you from enjoying your squirting orgasm. If you are concerned that this may happen to you, I suggest you take the time to use the bathroom before engaging in any play that may lead to a g-spot orgasm. Keep stimulating your g-spot, perhaps adding a little clitoral stimulation, and allow yourself to just let go. A squirting orgasm can be extremely powerful and overwhelming at first. I, personally, have been experiencing squirting orgasms regularly for about 2 and a half years, and I still tear up almost every single time.

Not every woman is capable of experiencing a squirting orgasm, but, if you can, you will never be able to forget the mind blowing sensations. Even if you are capable of having your first squirting orgasm, practice is necessary to be able to find that perfect spot whenever you wish. Don't get discouraged if it takes you many, many sessions to achieve a squirting orgasm. Regardless of your outcome of this little experiment, take this time to re-explore your own body or to reconnect with your partner.

Once I was able to locate and stimulate my g-spot on a regular basis I began to have squirting orgasms almost whenever I wanted. G-spot vibrators and dildos can often be of service to those that have a hard time orgasming from g-spot stimulation. I have a vibrator that I recently purchased from EdenFantasys website. I got the Extase Zenith for a steal but would gladly pay full retail to replace it, should it one day die on me. You can visit Eden and look around. If you find anything you have to have, add it to your cart, snag one of their awesome free gifts, and use code XVR to save 15% on your order.

I want to sign you all a little homework. Go find your (or your partner's)  g-spot. Even without having a squirting orgasm, g-spot stimulation feels amazing and can add to your sexual experience. Then come on back and let me know how it worked out for you. If you have already experienced (giving or receiving) a g-spot orgasm or have squirted, let us know. Feel free to add any tips or tricks that may have worked for you, or share your experience. Happy hunting everyone!

Lustfully Yours,

Cal Exotics: Colt Anal Trainer Kit

Curious about anal play? Looking for a way to dip your toes in the proverbial water? Not looking to make an investment just yet? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, Cal Exotics Colt series Anal Trainer Kit may be the perfect choice for you.

PACKAGING:

My Colt Anal Training Kit came to me in shrink-wrapped packaging and no box. None. At all. I was very disappointed by this, since Cal Exotics advertises their product with a box. There really isn't much to say about the packaging and it was not reusable, so I just threw it in the recycle bin.

 MATERIAL/TEXTURE:

The Colt Anal Trainer Kit is made completely of PVC rubber. PVC is durable, easy to clean, and comes in a variety of firmness. It is not the most body-safe material, as it does tend to contain phthalates causing some health concerns over long term use. The training plugs are completely smooth with a tapered shape for a more ergonomic fit in the rectum. There is a wide base at the end of each plug to prevent it from slipping inside and getting "lost" in place where sex toys should not be misplaced.

 SIZE:

This anal training kit come with three different sized plugs to slowly work your way up to taking a larger sized object into your anus. I have several measurements to share, so please bear with me as I try to explain the size differences in these plugs. All of these plugs are tapered with a smaller area for the anal rim to rest around and a wide base to keep the plug from being sucked in too far. The smallest plug has a total length of 4 3/4" with 3 3/4" being insertable. This plug is only 1/4 inch in diameter at the tip and the widest part is just 1 inch in diameter with the anal rim area being a comfortable 3/4 inch in total diameter. The medium sized plug is just a little bit bigger than the smallest one. The total length is 5 1/2 inches with 4 1/2 inches of that being fully insertable. The taper of this plug starts with a tip only 1/2 inch in diameter and widening to 1 1/4 inches at the largest area. The anal rim area is also a comfortable 3/4 inch. The largest upgrade in size comes between the medium and large sized plugs of this set. While the medium is just slightly larger than the small, the large is freaking huge! The total length of the largest plug is 6 1/2 inches with 5 3/4 inches of that being insertable. The tip of this plug starts at just 3/4 inch which isn't too bad, however, it explodes to a full 2 inches at the widest part of the base and the anal rim area is a full 1 1/4 inches. There is such a large difference from the medium to the large that I feel there should be another sized plug between the two. I was unable and unwilling to play with the largest plug, as I felt that even using the medium sized plug, I was not able to warm-up sufficiently to take the large plug without copious amount of pain. I have included a bit of a diagram in the following picture to help visualize the size a bit more accurately...and hopefully to relieve some of the confusion from just text measurements.

 FUNCTION:

Cal Exotics designed this anal training kit to prepare the anus for penetration. There are three plugs of graduating sizes to start you off nice and small and work your way up to the size you wish to be able to insert into your anus. Plugs, unlike anal probes or beads, are meant to acclimate your anal cavity to the fullness of anal penetration, which means that you put them in and leave them in. They are not meant to be thrust in and out, although they can also be used in this manner.

 PERFORMANCE:

I purchased these training plugs to prepare myself for the review of another anal plug that I received for review. I was rather intimidated by the size of the plug that I had received, since I had no real experience with anal play of any kind. When I found the Colt Anal Trainer Kit, I thought that they looked perfect for what I wanted. The smallest plug is perfect for anyone beginning on their anal journey. With a gently tapered shape and a tip of only 1/4 inches, there was absolutely no discomfort with this plug. I found that rubbing the tip around the anal rim and then gently working it into the anus produced the best feeling. I was unable to take the entire things immediately and instead gently pushed it in and pulled it almost completely out until my rectum was ready to insert the entire plug. Once completely seated in the anal cavity, these plugs aren't going anywhere. The base is long, but not too wide to allow it to comfortably site between your butt cheeks. Once I was able to comfortably take the smallest plug, I started to play with the medium sized one. A little more lube and some gently maneuvering and this plug slipped right into place. Having the plugs fully inserted into the rectum gives an incredibly full, but not completely uncomfortable feeling. While inserted, the plug pushed on the wall between my anal cavity and my vagina, which caused my vagina to become much tighter, a definite huge plus for my husband (who has no complaints about the my tightness without the plugs, thank you very much ;) ). I have not even attempted to use the largest plug in this collection. I have no interest in stretching myself that large, at this point, but I like having a larger plug, should I need it in the future.

CLEANING:

The Colt Anal Trainer Kit can be cleaned using warm water and a mild antibacterial soap or a universal toy cleaner. Bleach, boiling, and the dishwasher are not recommended ways to keep your PVC training plugs clean. Be sure to thoroughly clean any anal toys to prevent the build-up of lube or any bacteria on the toy. Remember, a clean toy is a happy toy.

 LUBE:

These PVC training plugs can be used with water or silicone based lubes, with no problem. Personally, I prefer silicone lubricant for anal play, due to its long-lasting, extra slippery, non-drying qualities. I have found that water based lubricants often need to be reapplied, because they dry out and can become sticky during extended periods of play time. I also used some Anal Eaze with these plugs to help ease them in, without my rear clenching tight enough to crush a jaw-breaker. Here is where I need to insert a little educational safety blurb... Anal Eaze is a numbing product that contains benzocaine (the same numbing product in Oragel). The anus is a muscle and needs to be "warmed up," before any playtime, and any numbing agents should be used sparingly, as to not numb so much that injury occurs, without knowledge. Having said that, I do use Anal Eaze myself, but sparingly, and just at my anal opening. This is a temporary product for me to get my body used to having my anus touched, without clenching for no tomorrow. I, personally, have a hard time relaxing for that first touch.

 POSITIVES:

The Cal Exotics Colt Anal Trainer Kit works exactly as it is designed. If all you need a temporary product to get you used to using your new, bigger plug or to prepare for anal sex, then this may be just the ticket for you. The PVC is relatively easy to clean and the pliability makes them easy and comfortable to use. The graduated sizes allow you to work up to your goal size, without spending an arm and a leg. For the price, I find that this a great product but, as always, there are drawbacks to purchasing cheaper products.

NEGATIVES:

I was really disappointed with the quality of these training plugs. They are made of PVC, a common but low rated material on a "body-safe" scale. These plugs cannot be fully sanitized, and as such, they should not be shared between partners, without the use of a condom. Another miscalculation with these plugs is the size differences. The smallest and the medium sized plugs are a gentle size increase, while the largest plug is much larger than the second, and is a step that is a bit harder to take. I feel as though there should be at least one more sized plug between the medium and the large size. The most disappointing point of these plugs is the way they are made. These plugs seem to be made of two different pieces of the PVC. There is the pliable outside and then a separate inner core, and these two pieces are not sealed together well. Mine are already separating, after just a few uses. I really wish that they had been made as one complete piece, with no seams or possibility of separation. I also wish that they had been made of a material that could be fully sanitized, due to their intended use.

 STORAGE:

The biggest storage concern with these plugs is the fact that they are made of PVC and some of those icky chemicals can leach into your other toys. I found that the best way to store these in my own toy box was to place them in a pouch as a barrier against my other toys.
